We work with him, helping him craft his ideas into a well written essay. At the end, he will have both a better essay AND better writing skills to carry him forward into his college years.
What Can you Expect?
Some students come to us with a draft already complete. Others have not even chosen a topic. Either way, they will leave with a polished essay aimed at getting their application noticed. We "interview" the student to pull out interesting life events or ideas that would make for great essay topics. Then we work side by side to draft that essay. After working with our writers, your student will have a polished essay, ready to submit. More importantly, by working side by side on the process, they improve their writing skills before college.

Even if your child is a strong student, it's likely he hasn't done much personal writing. The college application essay should come from the heart and be a personal reflection of a child's life experiences, ideas and dreams. It's quite different than the essay writing most kids have done in school and many struggle with bringing in enough detail, emotion, and thought to make this essay personal and unique. We are experts at explaining these concepts and drawing them out of our students during the essay writing process.
